For Heroic Actions on

November 9, 2016

Awarded for decisive action and bravery during a potentially life threatening situation on her afternoon bus route. After delivering her students at the bus stop Ms. Buck heard several loud popping noises and noticed a man running past her bus shooting at a house.  Ms. Buck immediately sounded her horn motioning for her students and a sibling enroot to the stop to get back on the bus.  Because of her quick response and heroic actions Ms. Buck was able to protect her students by transporting them to a safe location away from the danger.

Ms. Buck exemplifies the dedication and professionalism

of all school bus drivers in the great state of Georgia.

Therefore, on this 19 day of June, 2017

does hereby commend her for her meritorious action
